The absolute best veterinarian around! After visiting other vet offices in other parts of the state due to my location, I moved to the Winston Salem area. I made an appointment with Animal Care of Rural Hall. They treated Kenzie and myself like we had been coming there for years and were family. They also looked through and recommended dropping some treatments that other vet offices were routinely doing that were unnecessary since she is an inside dog. I had been overcharged at other places for a long time! During vet visits, they are extremely personable and descriptive of any potential issues. They recommend the proper medicine/items to treat your pet even if they do not sell the items in office! Also, scheduling visits, and monitoring which medical treatments are due is extremely easy using the PetDesk app. Give them a visit and you will not be disappointed! Read Less

The Roberts have treated our two rescue cats at Animal Care Clinic since 2013. One had a cancerous tumor surgically removed from her leg that to date has not returned and she is doing fine. The other had a host of health issues due to his prior life, but we did all possible to make his life better while he was around. It was an all out effort. They also treated our other two cats at their former practice including our proverbial "cat from hell" who clearly expressed his dissatisfaction with being at the vets. They work well with the animals, are up-to-date on procedures and practices, come highly recommended, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Read Less

The doc was great and took time to explain his treatment, how to give insulin shots, etc. Staff was very nice. Prices were in line with what I've paid in Louisiana and Texas. Not too bad. They are the best! My cat had been very sick, and another vet could not tell me what was wrong. I took my cat here and they found the problem that same day. They saved my cats life! The other vet charged me so much and couldn't find the problem. They found the problem and charged me less. I would never go anywhere else now. They are so good with all my pets! Read Less

This vet is so awesome! I took my 17year old baby Tinyfo here yesterday 04-20-16, after my baby Tinyfo showed me a sign yesterday that it was time and I did not want her to suffer. Me and my husband arrived and the Tech Misty took us on back to the room she was very compassionate and caring and asked questions and if we needed anything to let her know and that the Doctor Wendy Wells would be in soon. Doctor Wells came in and talked with us and explain everything to us and what she was going to do. Doctor Wells gave Baby Tinyfo a sedative to help and gave us some more time with our lovable baby Tinyfo. Doctor Wells came back in later with Tech Misty and both were so compassionate, caring, and wanted to know if it was time. After everything Doctor Wells and Tech Misty were so compassionate, caring, and showing condolences, and sorry for our lost and for us to take as much time as we needed. Tech Misty told us not to worry that she would take care of our Baby Tinyfo appropriately after we left, that ease my mind knowing that my Baby Tinyfo was in such compassionate and caring hands. This Vet is the best they take care of there client's and they are very compassionate, caring, sympathize, and go out of there way to help there client's any and every way! I recommend this Vet to anyone! Thank You to everyone there for taking care of my Baby Tinyfo and being so Wonderful and Excellent in what you do!Read Less

I was looking on Facebook about a vet office that helped an abused dog. It made me remember my dog Rusty and what this Vet office did for him. It's been about 7-8 years since it happened but I want to say a late " thanks " to what you did for Rusty. Rusty was a young dog ( 6-9 mos old ) being kept at the Stokes County pound . I help rescue dogs and noticed they were going to kill about 15 dogs the next day. I kept watching as all 15 dogs but Rusty were rescued. Rusty is a pit mix so I think that had something to do with it. When it seemed like all was lost for Rusty I volunteered to take him. When I called the next day to pick him up I was told I couldn't because he had parvo-- I'm sure he caught it there. I live out of town in Charlotte , but I'm from Forsyth County, and a local rescue group told me that this vet would probably treat Rustys parvo for a reasonable price. That's exactly what this vets office did. Rusty had two strikes against him in his short life-- about to be killed them parvo jumped on him-- but with a very special thanks to this vet office Rusty is very healthy and happy today . I have lived in 7 cities in 2 states and I can truthfully say that Dr.'s Preston & Lynn Roberts are the most caring, personable and knowledgeable veterinarians I have ever worked with. They are never to busy to answer questions nor do they talk down to you for asking. I highly recommend them to anyone searching for the right vet for their furry family member. We had to have our dog put down because of her illness. The staff is the nicest and most compassionate people I have ever met. The front desk tech gave us some towels so that our dog didn't have to sit on a cold table. The doctor met with us to go over the procedures and was very straight forward with kindness with what our options were. I can't express enough how grateful I am for the care they showed me and my family during this sad time. I will never go anywhere else for my future vet care. Read Less

Staff is wonderful! They are very loving, and actually care about your pet. The doctor is amazing with animals. He takes the one on one time to explain everything to you about what is going on. We have 3 dogs and 4 cats, and they are the only vet that we would ever take our pets too. When my chow was a puppy, he had many health problems. He enjoyed going to the vet because of all the attention he received from all the staff members! Truly amazing and wonderful staff all the way around!! Read Less
